Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility Criteria for Krishak Bandhu Scheme:
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
- The age of the farmer must be between 18 – 60 years.
- If you are a farmer you can apply, also if you are a landless farmer working as an agricultural laborer.

The Krishak Bandhu scheme by the governmetn of West Bengal also provides the benefit of Life insurance up to Rs. 2 lakh. The scheme will benefit around 72 lakh farmers of the state. Rs 5,000 per acre of land in 2 Annual Installments
The west Bengal Krishak Bandhu scheme beneficiary amount is Rs. 5000 per annum. The amount under the scheme is provided to the farmers in two installments. The farmers will receive the amount for 1.2 acres of agricultural land. One installment will be given for the Rabi crop and the second installment for Kharif Crop. Thus making the total amount Rs. 5000 for a year.
