Government initiated the construction work of Rajgir Wildlife Zoo Safari in the year 2016. They completed this work in February 2022, and since then it is opened for the visitors. Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar inaugurated this zoo on 16th of February 2022.
At present there are so many animals in Rajgir zoo. These are as, 7 lions, 2 tigers, 2 bears, 2 leopards along with 200 deer. In the near future, some more animals will be brought at here. The total time available for visiting this safari is one and a half hours. Anyone will not be allowed to come out of the bus while visiting safari.
