 Raita Vidya Nidhi Scholarship – Scholarship Amount 

The scholarship amount under the raita Vidya Nidhi scholarship scheme is being planned to increase by Basavaraj Bommai, the chief minister of Karnataka. The CM of Karnatak declared an increase in scholarship amount on 1 June 2023 while having interaction with the plan beneficiary at Alva College in Moodbidri. He also emphasized that a large number of candidates are getting benefits from this scheme. the children of weavers and fishermen are also beneficiaries of this scheme.

The vision of this scheme is to raise the literacy level and reduce the unemployment rate in the state. Hence, the scheme is extended for a calendar year by the government of Karnataka. Under this scheme, some facilities will be provided such as a hostel facility. So that the students can continue their education without wasting time traveling. And the social welfare department will manage the hostel facility.

The extension of the Raita vidya Nidhi scholarship scheme has been declared by the Chief Minister of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai on 11th April 2023.
