Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Punjab

This pension scheme is by the central government. This pension is given across India to Disabled People. Disabled People of Punjab are also eligible for the pension. Under this scheme people with disability, more than 80% are eligible to apply. The age of the applicant must be above 18 years. People between the age of 18-79 is provided an amount of Rs. 300 per month. And person above the age of 79 are provided with Rs. 500 per month. People having benefits under any other pension scheme by the center or state government are not eligible for the pension. Only those persons who are covered in the socio-economic caste census 2011 will be provided the benefit of this scheme.
