National Apprenticeship Training – General Stream
The administration board of NATS has released a notice on its official website. As stated in the notice that all the graduate students with different streams, like, B.A/B.COM/B.Sc. would be eligible for this training program. Additionally, Students in the general stream will have training for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 3 years. The board of apprenticeship training/practical training of the ministry of education organizes this student welfare program. This is a one-year program, through which students will get basic training with technical equipment qualifications related to their field of work.
National Apprenticeship Training – Technical, Non-Technical Courses
Initially, the NATS was only for those students who are pursuing technical courses. Later on, some amendments have been done to the scheme. As a result, the students who are pursuing non-technical courses, are also eligible for the apprenticeship training. Now they can also avail themselves of the program and make their career better. Furthermore, the government has sent a new amendment scheme program to the Cabinet Secretariat, and now the duration period would be from 2021-22 to 2025-62 of this new amendment scheme program. Eligibility Criteria for NATS

An applicant can apply only if he/she is the age of 16 years or above.
- The applicant should have a degree/diploma certificate.
- An applicant should be a fresher.
- Self-employed applicants will not be accepted
- The applicants who have obtained training under any other Government training scheme for skill development, cannot apply under this scheme.
