About the Scholarship –Mahadbt refers to Maharastra direct benefit transfer is an online portal that provides scholarships to the student of the Maharashtra State. About MahaDBT Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) scholarship eligibility
In Maharashtra State, there are two schemes under the MahaDBT directorate of the technical education department. These are Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shikshan Shulkh Shishyavrutti Yojana and Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Vastigruh Nirvah Bhatta Yojna (DTE). The Eligibility criteria are the same for both scholarship. Details are below:-
- The Student should be an Indian Citizen.
- The Student should be a Maharashtra state resident.
- The family’s annual income should not be more than Rs. 8 lakhs.
- According to notifications, the gap year in the course should not be more than 2 years. The Student should have passed from a reputed university approved by Goverment.

- After that, you can see on the home page, that there will be a link to “Post matric scholarship”. Click on this link for registration for a scholarship.
- Process of applying to the scholarship, now click on “new applicant registration”.
- After that, you will be redirected to a new page. Enter your name, user name, password, email id, and mobile number for registration.
- Now OTP will be generated for verification. Enter the OTP in the “Enter OTP for email id and mobile number” box for registration
