What is the Jnanabhumi Scholarship

The Andhra Pradesh Government has introduced a scholarship scheme for the Categories people such as. SC, ST, OBC, minorities, and other economically weaker sections people in the State itself. The objective of this initiative is to provide education facilities to prudent students. So that no scholar student can deprive of education in the absence of money. Therefore, Andhra Pradesh Government raised this issue and brought this scheme into their state for the backword community and tribes. Through this scheme, the state government will give financial support to those beneficiaries.

Scholarship Under Jnanabhumi

Post matric scholarship for SC/ST/BC/Minorities/Kapu/EBC/Differently abled Students: people after high school can apply for the scholarship. Along with, the SC, ST, OBC, and Minorities are also eligible to avail of this scheme. Besides these, economically backward and disabled people can get benefits from this program. Scholarships for students from SC/ST/BC/disabled groups: students after 5^th to 10 will be eligible to apply for the scholarship. This scheme is designed particularly for ST, ST, and OBC differently-abled people. If any of you comes under this category, are entitled to this scheme. note here, that this scheme is only provided in the government school in Andhra Pradesh state.

YSR Vidyonnathi scheme: In this scheme, Andhra Pradesh’s government will sponsor the entire coaching expenses of the students who are willing to pursue the civil services examination. Candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or other Backward casts can get benefit from this plan. As well, the financially weaker people of the society, minority, Kapu, and Brahmin communities will be entitled to apply this scheme.

Ambedkar Overseas Vidya Nidhi scheme– through this scheme government has planned to give Rs10 lakh to Rs 15 lakh for their education. Only those people who come from SC/ST/BC and other minority communities can avail themselves of this scholarship scheme. Also, the scheme is available to the students whose family income does not exceed Rs 6 lakh.

Jnanabhumi Scholarship-Eligibility Criteria

Here are the eligibility criteria for both types of scholarships:

Post-matric scholarship

Those enrolled in polytechnics, ITIs, or degree programs in government-supported, aided, or private universities/boards are eligible.
Students living in an attached college or departmental hostel who are day scholars are eligible
to apply for scholarships if they attend 75% of the classes each day
It should be noted that the applicant’s family’s annual income should not exceed Rs. 2,50 lakh
Each applicant’s family may own no more than 10 acres wet, 25 acres dry, or 25 acres both
There should be no government employees or pensioners in the applicant’s family except sanitary workers
Applicant family should not own four-wheeler except taxi, tractor or auto
No one in the applicant’s family should be an income taxpayer.

Note: The applicant must follow the following annual income criteria as concluded by the concerned authorities:-

Minorities	Rs.1.5 lakhs in the rural area and Rs.2 lakhs in the urban area

Pre-matric- scholarship

Applicant should come from SC/ ST/ BC/ Disabled community.
Annual income should be less than Rs. 2 Lakh per annum
Applicants of SC/ ST/ BC/ Disabled community will be able to apply if studying from class 5th to 10^th

BC community applicants can also apply only when the student is studying in 9th or 10th standard.

Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility

An applicant who is studying in a private or deemed university is not applicable.
An applicant who is pursuing correspondence or distance education courses is also not eligible for this scheme.
Students who get admission under the management/ sports quota are not applicable. for the scholarship.

Post-Metric- Scholarship

Go to the homepage, and click on the “Post-Matric Scholarship” link.
The application form will appear on your phone/computer screen.

Now, Download the Jnanabhumi Scholarship Application Form (JSAF).
This form can also be collected from school/college.
Fill out the application form.
Make sure to verify your details.
Attach all the documents with the form
Then submit the self-attested copy of the form to the principal of your college.
The form will be verified by the college principal.
You can submit the form through Jnanbhumi.
You will receive an SMS after confirming the submission.

- Biometric authentication
