Eligibility Criteria for J&K Budhapa Pension
The eligibility criteria for old age pension J&K are:
- The person must be a permanent resident of the state of J&K.
- Only applicants above the age of 60 for men and 55 for women are applicable for the scheme.
- The applicant must not have a son/sons above the age of 20 years.
- who are destitute in the sense of having no means of subsistence from their own source of income or through financial support from family members.

Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension J&K
Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension is the scheme by the central government. Under this scheme, a pension is provided to the people below the poverty line. The age group for the application that is applicable is above 60 years. The beneficiary gets an amount of Rs. 1,000 per month. Distribution of the pension between central and state governments is the age group of 60 to 79 Years Rs. 1000/- Per month (Rs. 200/- as Central share and Rs. 800/- as State share) and the beneficiaries who are 80 Yrs and above are provided pension Rs. 1000/- Per month ( Rs. 500/- as Central Share and Rs. 500/- as State Share).
