Jagananna Chedodu Scheme – Second Tranche

Jagananna Chedodu Scheme 2023 is the second edition which is inaugurated on 8th February 2023 by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The state government has funded Rs 285.35 crores to the beneficiaries who are Rajakas, Nayee Brahmins, and Tailor belongings to all communities. Around 2285350 people’s accounts have credited the fund through this scheme. It was a virtual event at the Tadepalli camp office from where the aid amount has been transferred to the beneficiaries. The one-time financial assistance of Rs 10,000 is given under this scheme. With the help of this financial support, beneficiaries can be able to buy essential machines, equipment, etc. This scheme gives opportunities to the Rajakas, Nayees, and Tailors to establish their small shops/businesses.

Jagananna Chedodu Scheme Rs 583.78 Crores Transferred Till Date

As per the state government’s data, the amount of Rs 583.78 crores has been distributed so far. The vision of this scheme is to help financially the tailors, washermen, barbers, etc who lost their source of income during the coronavirus pandemic. The beneficiaries will get an aid amount through a direct bank transfer.

Additionally, a survey will be conducted by village and ward secretaries to shortlist the eligible applicants. Through this process, the village and ward secretaries will submit the list of shortlisted candidates by which the beneficiaries will be selected.

Jagananna Chedodu Scheme 2023 Application Form- Budget 

On 10th June 2020, Andhra Pradesh CM, YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy initiated the Chedodu scheme. Under which the amount of Rs.10,000 has been transferred to the beneficiary’s account. The AP government Budgeted Rs. 247.04 crores for this scheme for around 2.47 Lakh beneficiaries. According to the government data, the amount will be transferred to the bank account of 82,347 Rajakas, 38,767 Nayee Brahmins, and 1.25 lakh Tailors. Besides, the barbers who own a shop will also avail of this scheme.

  • Then, On the home page, you will see the “Know Your Secretariat” option which is available in the menu bar
  • Now, A list will appear from where you have to select your district name
  • Here, click on the link given in the column (urban or rural) in front of your district name as per your locality
  • Then click on the Mandal name from the list to appear further and choose the link, given opposite to your Mandal name
  • In the end, you will be able to see your secretariat code on your computer screen.
