Apply Online for Delhi Marriage Registration

  1. Firstly, visit the official website of E-district Delhi.
  2. First, you need to register yourself on the portal, to register yourself follow the steps below:
    • Click on the new user option from the citizen’s corner.
  3. Select one of the options out of Aadhar Card, or Voter Id.
  4. Enter the number and Captcha code.
  5. Read the declaration and click on the checkbox, click on the continue option.
  6. Next login into the site by clicking on the registered user login option.
  7. Now, click on the Apply for Services option and search Registration of Marriage.
  8. Click on the apply option on your screen.
  9. The application form will appear, fill in all the asked details like date of marriage, location, the bride and groom’s personal details, witness details, etc.
  10. Upload all the required documents.
  11. Take a printout of the acknowledgment slip on which the date of appointment with the registrar is mentioned.
  12. Next, visit the registrar’s office along with witnesses and documents on the appointment date and time.
  13. After that, you will get your marriage certificate.

Apply Offline for Delhi Marriage Registration

  • Visit the official website.
  • Go to the Home and Community section.
  • Next, select the Marriage certificate and Registration option.
  • Now click on the Application form for registration under Hindu Marriage Act. or Click here for the Application form for Marriage registration under Spacial Marriage Act.
  • Download this application form and fill it up correctly.
  • Attach all the required documents with the application form.
  • Take the application form to the office of the Sub-Division Magistrate.
  • Your provided information and documents will get verified and communicated to both parties in accordance with the act. In case all is good and no objection is found the registration will be done after 30 days.
